Background of the company

  • Kerchanshe Group is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, and engage in manufacturing, agro-processing and export business. It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets. Currently Kerchanshe Group needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.

Job Purpose:

  • To provide support for all IT users and maintain IT resources at the required level of quality.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for configuring, provisioning, and supporting various computer and other electronics device,
  • Analyzes incidents and problems on weekly basis and provide professional assessment report with pragmatic recommendations,
  • Ensures that printers for users are configured and working as required i.e., both local and network printers,
  • Responsible for setup and deployment of new PCs/Notebooks to users,
  • Ensures that all PCs are protected from virus attack by installing the latest Anti-Virus program,
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end-user hardware, operating system, and software related problems, where possible,
  • Troubleshoot and resolve basic network and server access problems for end users, where possible
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to WAN, LAN, firewall, VPN systems, etc, where possible,
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with voice communications (Fixed telephone, PBX, or IP telephone system),
  • Forward technical support issues that cannot be addressed to the relevant regional or central support team,
  • Respond to inquiries about hardware or software issues,
  • Perform scheduled maintenance and backup user data,
  • Develop training materials and procedures for end users and IT Support Technician staff,
  • Maintain and update record of telecom subscription,
  • Perform other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor
