Job Description

 Job Purpose:

  • To plan, coordinate and implement, under supervision of transport operation manager, all the company’s vehicles insurance and safety activities, buy insurance policies, settles claims, renews policies and pays premiums.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Plans, organizes, and implements insurance activities.
  • Ensures that policies, procedures, and guidelines relating to insurance issues are well adhered to.
  • Notifies, processes, and tracks insurance claims when damage occurs on property.
  • Handles policy renewals timely.
  • Evaluates current insurance policies and conducts surveys to make recommendation for better policy arrangements and additional insurance coverage as needed.
  • Keeps proper documentation and confidentiality of insurance documents.
  • Provides safety management advice and engages staff in programs that ensure safe practice in the workplace.
  • Compiles safety programs and standardizes it for consistency as well as share best practice techniques in this regard.
  • Ensures every driver complies with the safety standards.
  • Attends safety trainings, trains drivers and other staff on safety.

  • Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

  • 2 years for Level IV,
  •  0 year for BA degree.

Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Time management skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of the different types of insurance plans
  • Proficient in computers and statistical analysis.
